The future of food recovery must be trauma-informed.

If the nervous system isn't understood and skillfully addressed, a huge piece of the recovery puzzle is missing.

You're in good hands

Even if you've tried everything, I'm confident I can help.

If you want professional support to reduce — or even eliminate — sugar and ultra-processed foods, you've come to the right place.

My name is Florence, and this is what I do. All day long. Even if nothing has worked before, your cravings feel unstoppable, and breaking free seems impossible — there is a way through.

Over two decades I've developed a unique, trauma-informed, somatic-based process that helps people break free from sugar, transform their health, and finally make peace with food.

If you're ready to feel better than you have in years — perhaps even decades — I'd be honoured to show you the way.

The science on sugar & ultra-processed food

You're not imagining it — and the world's leading experts agree.

Dr. David Ludwig

The more ultra-processed foods we consume, the more we put ourselves at risk for developing heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

Dr. David Ludwig
Professor, Harvard Medical School
Dr. Frank Hu

The consumption of ultra-processed foods has been linked to a higher risk of chronic diseases — including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Dr. Frank Hu
Chair of Nutrition, Harvard School of Public Health
Dr. Robert Lustig

Sugar is dangerous. Consumed in excess, it's a toxin. And it's addictive.

Dr. Robert Lustig
Professor Emeritus, UCSF
Dr. Mark Hyman

Sugar is 8× as addictive as cocaine. Cocaine and heroin light up one pleasure spot in the brain — sugar lights it up like a pinball machine.

Dr. Mark Hyman
Board Certified MD
Fatigue & low energy
Relentless cravings
Compulsive overeating
Weight gain
Depression & anxiety
Pre-diabetes / diabetes
Brain fog
Heart disease
Poor sleep
Skin issues & rosacea
Hot flashes
Yeast & bladder infections
Neuropathy
Dental issues
Inflammation & aches
…and so much more

Here's the good news: this can be reversed.

If you're feeling the painful side effects of too much sugar, they don't have to be permanent. Let me show you how.

The 4 Pillars of Food Recovery

Not another diet. A complete, body-based framework that treats the root — not just the symptom.

Pillar One

Nourish the Body

Reduce sugar and ultra-processed foods while nourishing yourself with real, whole foods that support metabolic and mental health.

Pillar Two

Somatic Healing

Learn to regulate your nervous system so you no longer rely on food, scrolling, shopping, or other coping strategies to feel okay.

Pillar Three

Feeling Our Feelings

Build new skills to experience, process, and integrate difficult emotions — instead of numbing or avoiding them with food.

Pillar Four

New Positive Thoughts

Transform the beliefs that fuel chronic stress, cravings, and emotional eating into thoughts that elevate your energy. Powerful.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before we start your journey together.

No. I work with both abstinence and harm-reduction approaches. We'll find what's right for you.

That's entirely up to you. The goal is to build a life where you no longer need or want it — so the choice becomes easy, not white-knuckled.

Yes. I support clients already using GLP-1s, and can connect appropriate clients with trusted medical providers who assess whether a low dose may help reduce food noise and cravings. For some, it's a game-changer.

The WHO recommends limiting added sugars to under 6 teaspoons a day for adults. That's not much — a single granola bar can put you over. Unless you eat almost no ultra-processed foods, you're likely well in excess of what's recommended.

All four pillars are essential for lasting recovery. If you're still struggling, one or more of them is missing. My coaching helps determine your missing link.

More than 20 years of personal recovery, research, and clinical experience — approached through a trauma-informed, somatic lens. I don't believe the solution is rigid food rules. There's a better way.

An honest fit check

Let's make sure this is right for you

I'd rather be honest than oversell. Here's exactly who this work serves — and who it doesn't.

This is right for you if you…

  • Sincerely want to reduce, or eliminate, sugar and ultra-processed foods
  • Want to prevent, improve, or reverse a chronic disease
  • Have tried everything and keep struggling
  • Are tired of "trying harder" and "starting on Monday"
  • Want nervous-system support, not just meal plans
  • Are ready for deep, personalized help — not a quick fix
  • Need an approach that's judgment- and shame-free
  • Want slow, sustainable results, not rigid rules

This isn't for you if you…

  • Are seeking trauma therapy — this is somatic-based, and it is not psychotherapy
  • Are looking for fast results — this is a slow, gentle process
  • Are unwilling to work with thoughts, feelings, and sensations

Not sure which one is you? That's exactly what the free call is for.

The free 15-minute call

What actually happens on the call

A relaxed, human conversation — no hard sell, no shame, no commitment. Just clarity on whether this is right for you.

1

You share what's going on

We talk through your history with sugar, what you've tried, and what feels hardest right now. I just listen.

2

I show you the way through

I'll help you see why the cycle keeps repeating — and what a trauma-informed path to freedom could look like for you.

3

You decide — zero pressure

If it's a fit, I'll explain how we'd work together. If not, you'll still leave with real insight. Either way is okay.

Final words for your consideration

Recovery isn't about becoming perfect. It's about becoming free.

01

Food is only the tip of the iceberg

Most people don't need another diet. They need help understanding why they keep reaching for sugar in the first place. The root causes are upstream.

02

Whole foods are more powerful than you think

Most people underestimate the power of real food to heal the brain and restore the body. It can feel like a miracle — but it's simply metabolic science meeting professional support.

03

The goal is a life you don't have to fight

Not just less sugar — a life where you no longer need or want it. No deprivation. No cravings. No using food to avoid pain. Just freedom.
